Welcome to Bancroft Elementary School. I feel humbled and honored to be working with such fine staff and wonderful community. I come to Bancroft after benefiting from numerous experiences in education. I have been fortunate to have served as: elementary classroom teacher, special education teacher, basketball coach, high school dean of students, assistant principal at an elementary school, consultant for a non-profit educational research organization (McREL), professional development specialist for the state department of education, and most recently an academic reform specialist for the Minneapolis Public Schools. I received my undergraduate degree from Minnesota State Mankato, Master's Degree from the University of Colorado, and further credits from the University of St. Thomas.

In our 98th year, the Bancroft school has seen many changes, but we remain committed as ever in ensuring the children of Minneapolis receive a rigorous academic experience with individualized attention.
