My name is Mary Sjoberg.

This is my 21st year of teaching.  In 1988 I  started my teaching career in Houston, Texas.  I taught there for 3 years before moving back to Minnesota.  I started my teaching career in Minneapolis at Waite Park Elementary, moved to Anderson after 5 years.  I stayed at Anderson for one year before coming to Bancroft in 1997.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1988, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.   In 2001, I received a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary’s University in Winona.

My daughter, Kiran, is in second grade also.  She is the light of my life.   We live in Apple Valley.  When I am not teaching I love to watch most sports, read, and spend time with my family.   We do love to spend time in Northern Minnesota and hanging out at the lake.
