Welcome to Room 225!

My name is Ms. Meister.  I joined the fourth grade team at Bancroft in 2015 after teaching 4th, 6th, and kindergarten at The FAIR School Downtown.  I have a Master's in Teaching from the Univeristy of St. Thomas and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Friench from  the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  I am a proud graduate of Hale, Field, Anthony, and Southwest High School in Minneapolis.  I feel so lucky to be back in my home school district and community.  My husband and I in Minneapolis and love spending my spare time running, biking, and ice skating around our beautiful lakes.   

I thinks that the best part of being a teacher is learning and becoming a better person, right alongside her students each day.  She hopes to provide her fantastic fourth graders with a strong sense of community and belonging in room 225, as well as support a personal motivation to grow and learn!
