My name is Debbie Reinholdz and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Bancroft this school year. This is my sixth year at Bancroft. I have been in Minneapolis since 1993 and have taught both fifth grade and kindergarten. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My husband and I have two married sons, and four beautiful grandchildren!
I take great joy in being able to work with young children and watch them grow as learners. My goal for your child is to create a love of learning, and to build a strong foundation for the years to come. I am a firm believer in parent communication. You can expect a weekly progress report and a newsletter every Friday letting you know what your child has learned over the past week. Please feel free to always contact me with your questions or concerns.
This fall I am so fortunate to have a resident co-teacher for the school year. Her name is Faduma Roble, and she is a wonderful addition to the Bancroft staff. Faduma has been in the Minneapolis school district for the past ten years. Also, working in our classroom this school year is, Peggy Crowley (Special Ed.), Laura Huff (Associate Educator), KP Powell (ELL), Jesse Morgan (Occupational Therapist), and Amy Murphy (Speech). We are truely fortunate to be working with such incredible and talented staff members!
