I have taught in the Minneapolis Public School District since 2005. My first teaching job was teaching 3rd grade right here at Bancroft. Then I moved over to Andersen United Community School and taught 1st grade and 5th grade (2 years). I am back at Bancroft teaching 5th grade and loving every minute of it! I went to college at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The mascot at UMD is a Bulldog. I am excited to be a Bulldog again!
My husband and I have been married for over 3 years. We have 1 daughter who is always smiling and enjoying life! We also have 2 dogs, Thor and Ruby. The dogs love to go on walks and play fetch. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends! I love to take walks and play at the park with my family.
My students and I work together to build a strong classroom community. We work together to create a positive learning environment. I believe every student can succeed in 5th grade and we work together to make this happen! As an IB school we work to develop students into life long learners. I want students to continue to feel excited and proud about their learning!
