Ms. Mary Sjoberg--Room 205

My name is Mary Sjoberg. I am starting a new adventure as being part of the global team and working with second and third grade.  I am also the coordinator of ALC and the Talent development lead.

This is my 30th year of teaching.  In 1988, I  started my teaching career in Houston, Texas.  I taught there for three years before moving back to Minnesota.  I started my teaching career in Minneapolis at Waite Park Elementary and moved to Anderson after 5 years.  I stayed at Anderson for one year before coming to Bancroft in 1997.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1988, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.   In 2001, I received a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary’s University in Winona.

My daughter, Kiran, is  a junior in high school this year.  She is the light of my life.   We live in Apple Valley with our dog, Snoopy.  When I am not teaching, I love to watch most sports, read, and spend time with my family.   We do love to spend time in Northern Minnesota and hanging out on Lake Vermilion.

The easiest way to get a hold of me would be through email.
