Ms. Julianne

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Hello and welcome to a new school year! I'm one of the Speech-Language Pathologists at Bancroft Elementary School.  This is my 12th year as a speech-language pathologist and my 5th year working at Bancroft Elementary. I work with the students from kindergarten to 5th grade in the Autism Spectrum Disorders program, as well as students who are in regular education classrooms.  I'm incredibly passionate about helping students communicate more effectively so they're able to participate in academic and social activities.

In case you would like to know about my background… I grew up in Missouri on a farm.  I went to school at Missouri State University where I met my husband.  We have 2 beautiful boys- one is in 8th grade and one is in 6thgrade.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family, drinking coffee, reading, and crafting.

Working at Bancroft Elementary is so fun!  I love getting to know my students and their individual interests and strengths.  Sometimes I work with students in their classrooms and sometimes we work in the speech room.  I often collaborate with teachers to ensure students are working on their speech goals while simultaneously learning material from their IB units of inquiry.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!  All communication is good communication!  I’m looking forward to working with the students at Bancroft.  It’s going to be a great school year!

Go Bulldogs!
